We are continuing to use the ABW
assignment system for football in the WSC. All assignments and
contracts are handled on line by a site called
AssignByWeb (ABW).
(
Anyone who is already registered on ANY ABW Football or
Basketball site is still registered, and
does not need to completely re-register. They still need to
request permission on each assignors' site by going to
"User Registration" on the Main Page, then filling
in their User Name and Password in the blanks. Click on
"Find My Account" and wait for the assignor to
approve you.)
All football officials not already
registered on ABW need to go to the site and register themselves.
If you have never registered on an ASW
site, start at: www.assignbyweb.com/wsc
then choose Football.
Click on "User Registration"
and then click on "Click Here to
Register."
Note the following:
1) Use "normal" punctuation, not ALL CAPS or not all lower case,
as in "Jay Lyons," not "JAY LYONS" or
"jay lyons."
3) Enter SS# as "333-33-3333" and
phones as "630-653-7166." Be sure to check
the box next to each phone number so that schools
and/or
assignors can reach you easily. If you are not able to
accept calls at work, leave that box unchecked.
After you have
filled out the form and submitted it, I will receive
notification to approve you as a user. Once I have done that
(it may take a day or two), you
will receive an email telling you your ABW User Name
and your "secret" password. (To be sure that the
email from ABW does not end up in your spam folder, you
should add "webadmin@assignbyweb.com"
to your email address book. Now.)
Use only THAT User Name and
password to register on any other assignor's site (see
below) for whom
you work or want to work. DO NOT register separately as a new user on each
site. You should have only ONE User Name for all ABW sites.
Go back to the Football login page
and log in by entering your user name and password. Then immediately change your
password (Go to User Info, Change Password) to something you can
remember AND WRITE IT DOWN!!!!
Finally, click on the
"Availability Calendar" link and edit yours, only
CLOSING (red) dates that you are not available to work
football for any assignor.
If you want see what open games are
available for you to choose from, put your cursor "Master
Schedule", and CLICK ON Self Assign.
