2009 SBO Basketball Officials' Clinic
Our classroom session will be on Monday, June 2 from 6:30-10:30.  Games that the officials will work will be played on Tuesday, June 17,
Thursday, June 19, Tuesday, June 24, Thursday, June 26, Tuesday, July 8, Thursday, July 10, Tuesday, July 15 and Thursday, July 17.
Certified Clinicians on staff will be Fred Allman, Tom Huster, Peter King and Jim Bernardi.

Tenth Annual AOA-OPRF 2007 Summer League & Camp
  IHSA Certified 3-Person Clinic.  Classroom starts in June at Oak Park River Forest High School 
 The camp is in conjunction with the OPRF Summer League.

Ed Curtin 2008 3-Person Certification Camp
The BG Shootout 3-Person Mechanics Camp for basketball officials will be held June 19-21, 2008, at Buffalo Grove High School. 
Directed by Ed Curtin with Fred Allman, John Katzler, Jim Bernardi and Randy Steen serving as clinicians, the camp opens with a 3-hour classroom on Thursday, June 19 from 6-9 p.m. Current 3-person mechanics and rules changes will be discussed. There will be games on Friday and Saturday, June 20-21, and each official will work six over two days with afternoon and evening sessions. All games are at a boys varsity level.

The clinic will satisfy the IHSA certification requirement. Officials will receive a written observation report. The fee is $70.  Click here for a registration form.

Ed Curtin's 2008 Coaches Communication Clinic
The Coaches Communication Clinic is geared towards assisting officials to improve their communication with coaches.

Al Raya  College Basketball Camp for Officials

Al Raya, Coordinator of Officials for Women’s Collegiate Basketball, including the CCIW & Midwest Conference, will be hosting the Midwest Referee School on June 22-24.  This camp features experienced state clinicians & collegiate officials with NCAA tournament experience.  There will also be high school assignors & four collegiate officials will be in attendance.  Log on to www.midwestrefereeschool.com for further information.

There will be a camp this year on May 22-24 in Ft Wayne, and information is available at www.gpollard.com,  then click on GLVC Camp information to obtain all details as well as a camp application.  It is a great camp, the staff and the instruction are great, lectures and classroom and the price is very good.
